Salford Park residents fly Australian flag

Alan Tudge MP, Federal Member for Aston, met with the manager and members of the Residents’ Committee at Salford Park Retirement Village in Wantirna, to discuss local issues and to present an Australian flag.

Mr Tudge said that he was honoured to present the Australian flag. “Ours is the best flag and the best country in the world to live in,” he said.

Residents also discussed the Stud Road bus lane, development throughout Knox, and the growing need for public transport projects such as the Knox tramline extension and the Rowville rail project.

Mr Tudge is pictured with Jack Giles, a resident at Salford Park Retirement Village, preparing to raise the new flag.
